Assembly Plant Air Upgrade
Up to 35% lower energy use

Automotive
Case Overview
An automotive assembly plant needed steady air for tools, lifts, and line controls across two shifts. The existing fixed-speed machines were short-cycling and wasting power whenever demand dropped. KELETER replaced the plant air system with rotary screw compressors sized for the line, including variable speed control for the lighter second shift. Pressure now stays stable from stamping through final assembly, and the maintenance team spends less time restarting tripped units between shifts.
Up to 35% lower energy use
What was delivered
Rotary screw compressors sized for continuous assembly demand
Variable speed control cuts unloaded running on the lighter shift
Stable line pressure for tools, lifts, and controls
Fewer unplanned stops between shift changes
